　　I was born in a beautiful town with high mountains around it.The mountains are covered with all kinds of green bamboo.Through the town runs a small stream.It's said that a new railway is going to be built to the east of the town and a bamboo factory to the west.All the children of the school age can go to school.If anyone is ill,he can go to see the doctor in the newly-built hospital.People in the town are hard-working and never take the backwardness lying down.Though they are having a richer and better life,they are not satisfied with what they have got.They are working hard to build their town into a modern one.

　　镇西高山，我出世在一个美丽的小镇周围。的山脉覆盖着各种绿色竹子。通过镇运行一个小流。它说，新铁路将建成东镇竹制品厂。所有孩子的入学年龄可以去上学。如果有人病了，他可以去看医生在新建医院。人们勤劳，永远不要落后躺下来。尽管他们具有更丰富，更好的生活，他们不满意他们了。他们努力建立他们的城镇到现代。

　　春天来到了，小树长满了嫩芽，草地上长满小花小草，花儿到处都是，有红的、黄的、紫的、白的……，被微风轻轻地吹过，好像春姑娘在和我们打招呼，小草探出小脑袋，蝴蝶在空中飞来飞去，好像春故娘在跳舞。小鸟在唱着欢快的歌儿迎接着孩子们。小河的水清澈见底，都可以看见河里的鱼了……

　　秋天到了，果树上满了水果，远处，苹果树下的小妹妹在吃着一个个大苹果，脸上带着喜悦的笑容，脸还红彤彤的，好像一个大苹果。在其它树下，有孩子们在欢快的玩耍着，有的在玩跳绳，有的在玩抓人，有的在玩躲猫猫，还有的在玩摸人。风吹呀吹，好像秋姑娘在给可爱的孩子们擦汗……

　　My home village is small one. It is in Yuxian county of Shanxi Province. Small as it is, it is very beautiful.

　　There are many hills around my home village and they are more beautiful than some big mountains. In spring, we can fly kites which are made by ourselves on the top of the hills. The kites fly very high. In summer, the trees are green and the grass is green too.It is green everywhere on the hills. There are so many wild apple trees on the hills. The wild apples are nice to eat. In autumn the corns under and around the hills are ripe so we conies almost every day. In winter when it snows all the ground is covered with snow. We can play with snows and sometimes we eat the clean snow with sugar.

　　In my hometown the sky is blue, the air is clean, the water is sweet and the people are very friendly. I love my hometown!

　　我的家乡是位于山西盂县的一个小村庄。它虽然小却非常美丽。

　　家乡被群山环绕，这些小山甚至比大山川还要美丽。

　　春日里，我们在山巅高高地放飞自制的风筝。夏天，漫山遍野是长得绿油油的草木，各种野果美味诱人;秋日里，山下和山周围的玉米熟了，我们几乎天天能品尝到新鲜的玉米;冬日里，雪花飘飘，大地银装素裹，我们玩雪，有时还就着糖吃几口干净的白雪。

　　There are about one thousand people in our village. Most of them are living a hapy life. They have built their new houses. All of their children can go to school. Last year ten students from our village went to college.

　　村里有大约一千人，他们大部分人过着幸福的生活。他们建了新房子。他们的孩子都上学。去年我们村里有十名学生上了大学。

　　There is a reading room and a library here. Every evening many villagers go to the evening school to learn science and read newspapers.
